After losing to Buffalo Grove the last time they met, Grayslake Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rams were the clear victors by an 18-8 margin over the Bison on Saturday.

The team relied heavily on Emma Andrews, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 4-for-5. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Keira Clark was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Grayslake Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. They are 7-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Grayslake Central's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-13. As for Buffalo Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-15.

Coming up, Grayslake Central will welcome Wauconda at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Buffalo Grove, they will square off against Elk Grove at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
