Recap: Monsignor Pace Spartans vs. Central Rockets
The Monsignor Pace Spartans fell victim to the Central Rockets''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 62-0 loss at the hands of the Rockets. Monsignor Pace's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Central's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB ten times. The heavy lifting was done by Otis Guyton and Jayvin Tilghman who racked up six sacks between them.
Monsignor Pace's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Monsignor Pace will stay at home for another week and welcome Goleman at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. Goleman will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Monsignor Pace is ranked 115th). Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
