It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ichabod Crane can now relate to. They fell just short of the Williamsville South Billies by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Riders' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Torri Cutler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits.

At the plate, Abbey Milazzo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Ichabod Crane's loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Williamsville South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Ichabod Crane nor Williamsville South have any future games scheduled.
