Baseball Recap: Windham Comes Up Short

Windham lost against Noble back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The loss leaves the Eagles still looking for their first win of the season.

Anthony Rinaldi spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Windham saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. That run was Davis' first of the season.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Noble, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Windham has already played their next contest, an 8-0 loss against Gorham on the 8th. As for Noble, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Cheverus on the 8th.
