North Forest and Furr are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. The North Forest Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Furr Brahmans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Forest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 35.5 points per game this season.

Last Friday, North Forest strolled past Washington with points to spare, taking the game 21-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Michael Dean continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns. Those 164 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landon Robertson, who rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to North Forest's defense and their four sacks. Washington's QB won't forget Bradlea Bonton anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Bonton also sacked two sacks, which is notable because North Forest is 2-1 when he posts at least two sacks, but 2-3 otherwise.

Furr played against Kashmere and lost via forfeit.

North Forest's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Furr, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.
