Softball Recap: Sugar Valley Rural Takes a Loss

If Sugar Valley Rural was feeling good fresh off their 20-12 takedown of Columbia Montour Vo-Tech last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Phoenix came up short against the Sullivan County Griffins on Wednesday, falling 26-2. The Phoenix have struggled against the Griffins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Ellynn Scarborough was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Sugar Valley Rural's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sullivan County, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
