Recap: Wasatch Wasps vs. Cedar Valley Aviators
The Wasatch Wasps won the last time they faced the Cedar Valley Aviators, and things went their way on Friday too. Wasatch took down Cedar Valley 51-36.
Ashley Garner was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 20 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Peyton Behnke, who scored 17 points.
Wasatch's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Cedar Valley, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.
Wasatch will head out on the road to challenge Salem Hills at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Salem Hills is ranked 30th, while Wasatch is ranked 20th). As for Cedar Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Spanish Fork at 5:15 p.m.
