Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manvel). They claimed a resounding 79-33 win over Pasadena Memorial. The victory continues a trend for Manvel in their matchups with Pasadena Memorial: they've now won six in a row.

Despite the defeat, Pasadena Memorial saw an underclassman step up: freshman Madisyn McGrew went 10-for-22 to rack up 19 points and three steals. That was a full 57.6% of Pasadena Memorial's points, marking the fourth time in a row McGrew has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Manvel's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Pasadena Memorial, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-9.
