Soccer Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

If Taylor was feeling good fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Culver Community on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans fell just short of the Peru Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Taylor haven't had much luck with Peru recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Taylor now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Peru, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Taylor will square off against Tri-Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-Central will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Taylor surely won't give up without a fight. As for Peru, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 9-0 loss against Marion on the 2nd.
