Basketball Recap: Lyndon Institute Takes a Loss

The Lyndon Institute Vikings took a hard 46-29 fall against the Lamoille Lancers on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lyndon Institute has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points over those games. The win (which was Lamoille's third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lamoille beat Lyndon Institute by a score of 47-29 on Wednesday.
