Basketball Game Preview: Dillard Panthers vs. Providence School Stallions

Having just played yesterday, the Dillard Panthers will jump right back in to play the Providence School Stallions at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dillard has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 224 points over their last three contests.

Dillard saw some tournament action on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Beachside 61-27.

Amaya Montgomery was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. Montgomery is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle King, who posted eight points along with 11 assists and five steals.

Dillard smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Providence School suffered their biggest defeat since December 21, 2024 on Monday. They were beaten by Page 59-19. Having soared to a lofty 57 points in the game before, the Stallions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Dillard's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Providence School, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
