Meanwhile, Wheeling fell victim to Buffalo Grove and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Bison on the road and fell 41-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Bison recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Hersey's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. As for Wheeling, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
