Baseball Preview: Madison Warhawks vs. Bonita Vista Barons

Madison and Bonita Vista are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Madison Warhawks have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome the Bonita Vista Barons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Last Thursday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Madison had to settle for a 9-7 loss against El Capitan.

Madison got a good showing from Colin Gallagher, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also only allowed one walk).

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bonita Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5-1.

Madison came up short against Bonita Vista in their previous meeting back in March, falling 7-3. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bonita Vista's DEMARCO ROJAS, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit.
