Softball Recap: Desert Ridge Wins Going Away Against Cibola

Desert Ridge's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cibola Raiders as the Desert Ridge Jaguars made off with a 15-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Novi Muffo looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, she gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest she's had since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Halle Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Elena Esquivel was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
