Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stringer). They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Leake County Gators on Tuesday. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Stringer's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Leake County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Leake County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-2 defeat against Central Holmes Christian on the 27th. Hopefully Stringer payed attention to Leake County's game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Leake County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
