Basketball Recap: Woodberry Forest Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Episcopal, Woodberry Forest was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles by a score of 64-54. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Woodberry Forest's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Fredericksburg Christian, they moved to 3-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Woodberry Forest will take on Crossroads Christian in a holiday battle at at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fredericksburg Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Fredericksburg V at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
