While St. Bonaventure put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Fillmore. The Seraphs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Flashes, sneaking past 2-0. The Seraphs haven't had any issues with the Flashes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Jayden Simerly, who gave up just three hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Fillmore off the board. Simerly has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Wyatt Richardson was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Collin Barker also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

St. Bonaventure's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Fillmore, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. Bonaventure will venture away from home to challenge Buena at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fillmore, they will head out to take on Hueneme at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
