Football Game Preview: Rich Rebels vs. Grace Grizzlies + How To Watch

The Rich Rebels will take on the Grace Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grace took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rich, who comes in off a win.

Grace will be up against a hot Rich team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Rebels walked away with a 34-21 win over Bear Lake on Friday. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked first in Utah, while the Bears are ranked 62nd in Idaho) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rich's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jett Holmes, who rushed for 136 yards and one score, and also threw for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine passes. Those 136 rushing yards gave Holmes a new career-high. Wilkes Weston was another key player, rushing for 150 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rich was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 313 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Rich's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Easton Eborn and Rylan Gough, who racked up all four sacks between them. Bode O'Mealy got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Grace took a blow against Adrian on Friday, falling 54-24. The loss was the Grizzlies' first of the season.

Grace's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Rich, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Everything went Rich's way against Grace in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Rich made off with a 28-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
