Soccer Recap: North Lamar Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After soaring to eight goals the game before, North Lamar was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Paris Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 2-2.

North Lamar's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Paris, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as North Lamar duke it out with Mount Vernon at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Paris, they will challenge Chapel Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Paris is facing Chapel Hill at the right time seeing as Chapel Hill is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
