Basketball Recap: New Berlin Eisenhower Comes Up Short

After flying high against Greenfield last Thursday, New Berlin Eisenhower came back down to earth. The New Berlin Eisenhower Lions took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Grove Broncos on Wednesday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Union Grove's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ashley Lamers, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 boards. Natalie Hammes was another key player, putting up ten points and eight rebounds.

New Berlin Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Union Grove, their victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

New Berlin Eisenhower has already played their next contest (against Pius XI Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Union Grove has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Westosha Central.
