Basketball Game Preview: Mormon Trail Saints vs. Lamoni Demons

The Mormon Trail Saints are taking a road trip to take on the Lamoni Demons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Mormon Trail and four for Lamoni.

Last Tuesday, Mormon Trail ended up a good deal behind Seymour and lost 78-64.

Meanwhile, Lamoni was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 38-34 to Moulton-Udell.

Lamoni's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mormon Trail, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Mormon Trail against Lamoni in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 69-41 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mormon Trail since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
