Soccer Recap: Sheridan Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Sheridan was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sheridan of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Sheridan has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Indianapolis Shortridge, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Sheridan will challenge Tipton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Indianapolis Shortridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-1 victory against Seton Catholic on the 20th.
