Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Archbishop Carroll to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tiayo Adelekan, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds. Nyair McCoy was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists.
Archbishop Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Glenelg Country, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Carroll will take on Anacostia at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glenelg Country, they will be playing at home against Annapolis Area Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
