Baseball Recap: Union Yellowjackets vs. Sebastopol Bobcats
After a string of six wins, Union's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 10-7 to the Sebastopol Bobcats. Union was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sebastopol apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Friday.
Samuel Allawine was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
On Sebastopol's side, Colby Dooley made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits (and only one walk). Dooley was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and a triple.
