Volleyball Game Preview: Whitney Wildcats vs. Granite Bay Grizzlies + How To Watch

The Whitney Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Granite Bay Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Whitney is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Whitney came up short against Folsom and fell 3-1.

Whitney was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Folsom work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-12, 27-29, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Granite Bay came up short against Rocklin on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their meetings with the Thunder: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-14.

Granite Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 13-20. As for Whitney, their loss dropped their record down to 8-17.

Whitney suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Granite Bay in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
