Volleyball Recap: Lynn Classical Takes a Loss

Lynn Classical came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the West Springfield Terriers. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

While Lynn Classical had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Riches Won Tep and Viet Tran, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Kenzel Lantano and his 22 assists. Luca Lopriore controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lynn Classical's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for West Springfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Lynn Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Springfield, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Chicopee Comp on the 6th.
