Soccer Recap: Broad Run Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Broad Run was not quite Woodgrove's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Broad Run have lost by just one goal.

Broad Run has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4-2 record this season. As for Woodgrove, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5-1.

Coincidentally, Broad Run and Woodgrove will both be playing Loudoun County the next time they take the pitch. The Wolverines will host the Captains at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
