Quaboag Regional took the matchup and then some with a 41-6 victory on Friday over South Community/University Park/Claremont Academy. Quaboag Regional were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The win bumped Quaboag Regional's record up to 2-1. South Community/University Park/Claremont Academy are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.

Next week Quaboag Regional take on Abby Kelley Foster at Kendrick Field at 7:00 PM. Abby Kelley Foster took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Quaboag Regional's good fortune. South Community/University Park/Claremont Academy will be staying on the road, facing off against Oxford. South Community/University Park/Claremont Academy stagger into the match hobbled by three consecutive losses while Oxford skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
