Softball Recap: Montrose Blue Jays vs. Humansville Tigers

Zoie Wheeler made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Montrose got a massive performance out of Avery Wraight, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
