Soccer Recap: Mead Comes Up Short

Mead was the 2-1 winner over Ferris when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Saxons by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Mead have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mead's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Ferris, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mead will take on Mt. Spokane at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ferris, they will face off against Shadle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ferris will be up against Shadle Park's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.27 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
