Allie Grooms was a major factor in Eastern's win over West Union on Monday. Grooms made a splash, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. She played a big game the last time she faced West Union back in April of 2024, so the team probably should've seen her coming.
