Volleyball Game Preview: Chanhassen Storm vs. Mayer Lutheran Crusaders

The Chanhassen Storm will square off against the Mayer Lutheran Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mayer Lutheran took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Chanhassen, who comes in off a win.

Chanhassen is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Minnesota's top teams: Champlin Park, who was ranked 14th at the time (Chanhassen was ranked third). The Storm skirted past the Rebels 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Storm sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Mayer Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Marshall. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Crusaders have suffered since August 29, 2024.

Chanhassen's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Mayer Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-3.
