Friday just wasn't the day for North Lincoln's offense. They took a hard  19-0 fall against the West Iredell Warriors on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 36  points in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Even if they lost, North Lincoln's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Chris Thomas,  Angel Outlaw,  and  Dan Nsenda, who each picked up one  sack apiece.
 West Iredell was led to victory by  Amario Spence and  Ja'Braylan Patterson.  Spence gained 86 total yards and a touchdown, while  Patterson threw for 119 yards and one  TD while completing 72.2% of his passes. Spence also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  a  sack and making eight total tackles.  Trae Clyburn was in the mix  as well, providing West Iredell with one touchdown.
North Lincoln is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for West Iredell, the  victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 North Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  match,  a  49-0  loss against East Lincoln on the 19th. As for West Iredell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  21-0  defeat against Maiden on the 19th.
