Baseball Recap: Old Rochester Regional Takes a Loss

Old Rochester Regional fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Case on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 5-3. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Old Rochester Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Case, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Old Rochester Regional will challenge rival Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. Meanwhile, Case is set to take on their familiar foe Apponequet Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
