Baseball Recap: Adelanto Takes a Loss

Adelanto extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 14-14 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Burroughs Burros. That's two games in a row now that the Saints have lost by just one run.

As for Burroughs, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.

For Burroughs' part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colby Bachman, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. The Burros are undefeated when Bachman posts one or more home runs, but 11-12 otherwise.

As of now, neither Adelanto nor Burroughs have any future games scheduled.
