It was an underclassman who stole the show on Tuesday as Jordyn Crouch came into the match on a mission. She wasn't messing around, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with nine or more strikeouts.

Even though Crouch couldn't lead Whiteland over Decatur Central, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Crouch's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Warriors' five-game streak of wins at home.
