Soccer Recap: Calaveras Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Calaveras's offense. They came up short against the Summerville Bears on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for the Red Hawks in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost six in a row.

Calaveras now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for Summerville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Calaveras will challenge Linden at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Linden is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. As for Summerville, they and Riverbank will meet on Thursday for a tough Bear Battle.
