Basketball Recap: Grant County Takes a Loss

Grant County lost against Walton-Verona back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grant County Braves came up short against the Walton-Verona Bearcats, falling 67-41. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grant County's record now sits at 8-11. As for Walton-Verona, they moved to 13-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

When Grant County and Walton-Verona next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Grant County will face off against Henry County and their five-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Walton-Verona will try to stop Cooper's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
