A Season-Best  Effort from  Tre Graves Leads Hayesville over Union Academy
  Tre Graves produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hayesville to the win  on Friday. Graves rushed for 283 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 The  win made it two in a row for Hayesville and  bumps their season record up to 4-7. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Mountain Heritage at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Brandon Santiago Goes Supernova in Cherokee Win
 Winning always takes teamwork, but  on Friday  Brandon Santiago stepped things up a notch to give Cherokee the 'W'. Santiago was dynamite, rushing for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
 Cherokee's win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-4. Santiago and Cherokee will head out to  take on Eastern Randolph  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Luke Smith Makes It Two for Cherokee
 Keeping Santiago company is  Luke Smith, a fellow Cherokee player. He picked up 117 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.

Jonathan Saylor Sets Career High in  Rushing Yards
  Jonathan Saylor posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He threw for 164 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 56 yards.
 This year,  Saylor  has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 118.8 passing yards per game.

Tate Roberts Makes It Two for Hayesville
 The second Hayesville player making an appearance here is  Tate Roberts, and for good reason. He rushed for 41 yards.
 This season,  Roberts  has thrown 1 touchdown while averaging 27.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after 11 games last season,  he was only averaging 6.55  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 17.45  rushing yards.
