North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] is still winless after their contest against St. John on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. John Woodchucks. One positive for the Cougars, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

St. John was led to victory by Simon LaRocque and Ashton Parisien. LaRocque went 8 of 11 on his way to 20 points along with eight blocks and six boards, while Parisien went 8 for 16 on his way to 19 points and seven assists. LaRocque is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted four or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ezekiel Parisien, who posted six points.

North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette]'s loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. John, with the win, they broke their 12-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-2.

As for St. John, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-42 defeat against Towner-Granville-Upham on the 21st.
