Volleyball Recap: Emily Tran Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Hart + How To Watch

Saugus won the last time they faced Hart and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Centurions put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Centurions.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-14.

Saugus got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emily Tran out in front who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Tran has posted over her last ten matches. Another player making a difference was Bailey Posey, who had 13 assists and three digs.

They weren't the only good server: Saugus was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.

Saugus' win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Hart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Saugus will head out on the road to challenge Castaic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hart, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mayfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
