Belle Vernon is 9-1 against Laurel Highlands since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Leopards will host the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Belle Vernon will be strutting in after a victory while Laurel Highlands will be coming in after a loss.

Belle Vernon came out on top against Oakland Catholic on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Leopards were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Oakland Catholic.

Meanwhile, Laurel Highlands fell victim to Elizabeth Forward and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 15-0 to the Warriors. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win got Belle Vernon back to even at 5-5. As for Laurel Highlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Belle Vernon came out on top in a nail-biter against Laurel Highlands in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 7-6. Will the Leopards repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
