Basketball Game Preview: Rocky Mountain Lutheran Eagles vs. Front Range Baptist Falcons

Rocky Mountain Lutheran and Front Range Baptist are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Rocky Mountain Lutheran Eagles duke it out with the Front Range Baptist Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Rocky Mountain Lutheran was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 38-33 to St. John Paul the Great. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Front Range Baptist came up short against Weldon Valley on Thursday and fell 47-34.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Front Range Baptist, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran strolled past Front Range Baptist in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 36-22. Will Rocky Mountain Lutheran repeat their success, or does Front Range Baptist have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
