Zyan Davis, Pelion's leader in assists on the season, led the team again on Thursday. Davis posted 11 points along with seven assists and three steals. The effort also marked the highest three-point shooting accuracy (67%) he has had since back in January of 2024. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Even though Davis couldn't lead Pelion over American Leadership Academy, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Davis up against American Leadership Academy's star point guard Bryce Newton.
