Kymani Johnson Delivers Electric Effort Vs Clarksville

Starting off the list is Wortham's Kymani Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson rushed for 49 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making seven total tackles and defending six passes in addition to snagging two interceptions which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

The win was the fifth in a row for Wortham, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. Johnson and Wortham are on the road again on Friday to play Mt. Enterprise at 7:00 p.m.

A Season-Best Effort from Jon Ross Black Leads Wortham over Clarksville

Jon Ross Black produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wortham to the win on Friday. Black wasn't messing around, rushing for 117 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 211 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes. The matchup was his fourth straight with three or more passing touchdowns.

On the year, Black has thrown 28 touchdowns while averaging 167.7 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 76.73 passing yards per game.

De?Montrel Medlock Goes Supernova in Mart Win

De?Montrel Medlock put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September on Friday. He rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made three total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.

Mart's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Medlock and Mart will take on Overton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Terrence Scott and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

Terrence Scott's big game helped extend Bremond's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Scott turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 109 yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 94 yards.

Bremond's win bumped their record up to 9-2. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bremond Tigers take on the Lovelady Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Mart player making an appearance on this list is Ah'Maad Scott. He rushed for 83 yards and four touchdowns.
