Jordan and Willow Spring squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Jordan had to settle for second. They lost 13-7 to the Storm. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sydney Cornwell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Specht, who went 3-for-5 with three runs and one RBI.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Willow Spring, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Jordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Willow Spring, they will challenge Wake Forest on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Storm surely won't give up without a fight.
