Basketball Game Preview: Rockvale vs. Siegel Stars

Rockvale is 2-8 against Siegel since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Rockvale will venture away from home to challenge the Siegel Stars at 7:30 p.m. Rockvale knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Siegel likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Rockvale got the win against Oakland by a conclusive 83-59.

Rockvale can attribute much of their success to Ty Newton, who posted 15 points. Newton continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Lewis, who had 11 points.

Meanwhile, Siegel beat Oakland 59-51 on Friday.

Rockvale has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Siegel, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Rockvale ended up a good deal behind Siegel in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, losing 72-54. Can Rockvale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
