Baseball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Yuba City Honkers, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Honkers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Monday.

River Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KRISH GANDHI, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Yuba City, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

While River Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
