Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette was the 2-0 winner over Conner when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Saturday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Haylee Henderson paced Lafayette's offense, picking up four kills. Henderson got some help from Elise Trimble and her 11 assists.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Conner, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

Lafayette has already played their next contest (against Greenwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Conner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against North Oldham on the 18th.
