Volleyball Recap: Durfee Comes Up Short

Durfee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hilltoppers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Somerset Berkley Regional scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 22-25, 25-20.

Durfee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Durfee will face off against Dartmouth at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, they will square off against Bourne at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
